Biography
Dr Gisselle Tur Porres is Lecturer and Programme director for the BA Early Childhood Studies at Swansea University. Gisselle is member of EECERA. She has been convenor of the IRN/WERA (2021-2024): Promoting and supporting children's agency and participation in Early Childhood Education and Care (during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond). Her research interests focus on emancipatory learning-teaching practices, and participatory research with children, families, teachers/practitioners and communities. Gisselle has been keynote speaker and presenter at national and international conferences, contributing to Early Childhood Studies and Qualitative Participatory Research.
